Community Counselling Services
Communities: Hay River
Sector: Community Based
Other Areas of Interest
We promote wellness of mind, body, emotion, and spirit, with respect for tradition, culture, and language. Ultimately, wellness is the capacity of the community to interact harmoniously and respond to difficulties in constructive and healing ways.
We serve the area of Hay River and provide addictions and mental health counselling for individuals (adults, youth and school-aged children), couples (marriage, sexuality), and families. We offer counselling to help clients to identify personal strengths, explore problem areas, determine needs, find motivation for change, cope with the stress and discomfort of change, and to develop a greater sense of personal empowerment, efficacy, and self-esteem.
Clients are seen by appointment and can make the appointment on their own, or be referred through another agency such as Social Services, Probation, School, Medical Staff, etc.
